Silicon Photonic Integration
CMOS Photonics: Develop advanced photonic devices in CMOS and beyond-CMOS materials systems. Systems ranging from high-speed signal processing to processor interconnects are being explored.
Facilities
Group members use Microsystems Technology Laboratories clean rooms for silicon devices. These facilities include a complete 6" CMOS wafer fab. In addition, we work closely with MIT faculty pursuing CVD growth of SiGe materials.
